Cebu IT Solutions known to provide IT Solutions, tailored to the client’s needs, and respond only when consulted for an advice or a few recommendations, were requested to provide an Internet Gateway for their company to Load Balance their existing three Internet Connections and at the same time, provide a Fail-over scenario, in case one or two of their Internet Service Provider went down or is experiencing technical problems. Have recently customized a load balancing and fail over Gateway for a client with three Internet Connections.
Internet Services like E-mail (SMTP, POP3, and IMAP), DNS (Publisher and Resolver) and Workstation’s Internet access passed through this Gateway named XenWALL.
Though there are numerous network appliances that can accomodate their needs, yet none can provide customizations and technical support that can goes well their tight budget.
The Internet Access and the Domain Name Service were easily and efficiently balanced through the three different Internet Connections, understanding how an e-mail service works made the scenario tricky for the e-mail services challenging.
The good news is Cebu IT Solutions eats challenges for breakfast, we don’t just give up, not untill we have tested all possible scenarios. Now, all three internet services are currently passing through XenWALL with ease and efficiency.
XenWALL successfully passed all three Load Balancing, Bandwidth Aggregation and Fail-over Scenario Tests.
